"Truly honored to have won the Mana Fashion RTW Designer of the Year Award. Apologies to those in attendance as my emotions got the best of me and I wasn't able to speak for the first minute due to tears. If anyone last year would of told me that l'll have to close my store in Miami Design District early because I'm nominated for the RTW designer of the year I would of told you in 5 years perhaps but I don't know about next year. Not much I can say that I didn't say during my speech last night that I'm sure will surface soon but thank you Mana Fashion  for recognizing my work and creating a community where artist are valued and highlighted. To the city of Miami, I love you"
